1. Why can my TY90 measure frequencies and data normally, but not today?
Answer: It’s possible that your TY90 is battery-powered. When the battery runs low, the TY90 will be unable to detect data and frequencies. Suggestion: The TY90 comes with a USB power cable when manufactured. During normal use, please connect the power cable to a mobile phone charger or a computer USB port. When working outside, only then should you install a battery in the TY90.
2. The previous measurement data and frequency of my TY90 were very accurate. After the upgrade, in the data detection menu, the frequency in the lower left corner sometimes shows 000.00, and the data sometimes displays as UNDEFINED garbled characters?
Answer: Regarding the above issues, when you are conducting remote control data detection, you need to press the remote control button and then immediately release it. The new version of TY90 has enhanced the data copying function and has strict requirements for remote control data.
Therefore, the suggestion is as follows: When testing or copying the remote control, you should hold the original remote control down until the “beep” sound of TY90 is heard and the data is displayed. Only then should you release the remote control button.
If the frequency shows as 000.00, at the final step of the duplication process, simply set the frequency of the slave unit to match that of the original remote control.
Usage Suggestions:
1. Use the TY90. It is mainly powered by a USB power cable (the USB port can be connected to a mobile phone charger or directly plugged into the USB port of a computer to obtain power). Only when working outside will batteries be installed.
2. When copying the remote control or checking the remote control data, you must keep the original remote control button pressed down without releasing it until the “beep” sound of TY90 is heard and the data is displayed. Only then should you release the remote control button.
3. After copying the remote control, make sure the frequency is the same as that of the original remote. If they are not the same, you can use the “Frequency Editing” menu to adjust the frequency.
